Online Publications for Schools

The way schools receive essential information from the department for children, schools and families has changed.

The DCSF has replaced the paper it sends to schools with an online service, making it easier to access all the information and publications staff in schools need, when they need it.

These email alerts hightlight essential publications that the DCSF is producing and direct teachers and staff to the appropriate area of the [Online Publications for Schools] website, where you can:

  • read a detailed summary of each publication
  • download electronic copies in the format you need
  • order paper-based copies in the quantities required

Click here to access the Online Publications for Schools website

As well as the email alerts to school, teachers and staff can register with the website, adding preferences in order to receive regular email alerts tailored to their areas of interest.

The latest publications added to the DCSF Online Publications for School  website are fed to you directly via the RSS feed below. Click on the title links below to go straight to the document.

To ensure that your school is in receipt of these emails, it is essential that the DfES has the correct email address for your school. All email communications go to the school's preferred email address, as listed on your school's Edubase record. To check or change these details, please go to [www.schools.edubase.co.uk]. If you need help with this, please call the Edubase helpdesk on 0870 120 2527. It is essential that your school's email address is kept up-to-date.

If you have any queries about the online ordering service or the email updates please contact the helpline on 0845 600 9506 or email [publications.online@dfes.gsi.gov.uk].
