Learning grid for the East of England - resources for teachers, advisers and other staff
Across the board resources that are very useful in all areas. The OCR AS level ICT pages have been used by student with great success.
There are many free e-mail providers, and some of the major ones are listed below, alternatively you can follow the main link to view a listing of providers via the Google Directory.
A huge database of software to download, arranged by subject
The National Media Museum covers film, television, radio, photography and the web.
Atlapedia online contains full color physical maps, political maps as well as key facts and statistics on countries of the world.
This site looks at different parts of the world and their different environments, including the terrestrial biomes; rainforest, tundra, taiga, desert, temperate and grasslands together with marine and fresh water ecosystems.
Via the 'World Atlas' and you can drill down to focus on any place in the world, where you can view a map and find out more information about that place.
An on-line resource teaching children about different places around the world - updated termly and you can access back issues of the website.
